How to properly configure
email clients
Downloading
your Email from the POP3 server at LaMarSOFT
To properly POP the email from the server,
the email client must pass enough information to the email server
to let the email server know not only which POP account to check,
but also which domain to check. In each of the examples below, I
have configured the email client software to check the POP account
named joeuser@lamarsoft.com
on the server named mail.lamarsoft.com.
You will need to substitute your domain name in place of the lamarsoft.com
domain name when you configure your email software. You can use
basically any POP3 email client to check your email. Eudora and
Outlook are the two most popular email clients among our
customers.
