Configuring Outlook and Outlook Express Using the Wizard

When using Outlook, the Account Name field must by in the format of
username@domainname

To check the email account for joeuser@lamarsoft.com, we would need to set the Account Name field to the following: joeuser@lamarsoft.com

To check the email account for webmaster@yourname.com, we would need to set the Account Name field to the following: webmaster@yourname.com

Select the 'manual' option here, you can fix any problems after the basic account information is entered.

Double-click on the mail account you just created. It will be named with the mail server name you entered above.

Click on the 'Connection' tab...

Select 'Connect using my local area network (LAN)' if you use DSL or Cable Internet.

Select 'Connect using my phone line' if you use a dial-up modem.

Then click 'OK'. That's it - you're done!
